We stand for Lives Changed By Christ
Our Church started under the leadership of Pastor David Profit Jr. in Houston, TX.
Our ministry posed inquiries such as, "Imagine a church that prioritizes others." This mindset centered on serving others has not only influenced our identity but also continues to shape us. As we embarked on establishing new branches and reaching various communities across Houston, our mission has remained unwavering.
Today, Destiny Christian, has a larger vision for a single church with multiple sites spread throughout Texas and Louisiana. Each location offering a consistent, cohesive experience with music and a shared message delivered by a communicator that is broadcasted to every site.
Pastor David Profit Jr. was born in Monroe, Louisiana on February 1981. He is the son of Pastor David & Glenda Profit. He has three siblings of one brother and two sisters his family is for the foundation of instilling Christian principles in him and his siblings at a very young age. His grandmother was a gospel singer and his great grandfather was the late Pastor Lewis.
At the age of 22 Pastor Profit accepted his call to minister the Gospel from Isaiah 61:1-3. In 1983, Pastor Allen received a Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from Southern University Baton Rouge Louisiana, and Masters degree from Wolford College of anesthesia in Naples Florida, while simultaneously attending Andersonville Theological Seminary in Camilla GA receiving his masters in theology. He also attended The New Testament Bible Institute where he received his doctorate of philosophy in Biblical Studies.
Through being obedient to his calling, in 2002, Pastor Profit was ordained and served as minister at the Dellwood Church of God (non-denominational) where he was a young inspiring assistant pastor in the city of Monroe.. Having faithfully served there, under father and mentor Pastor David Profit Sr. for years as minister; he went on to pursue his education. After graduating from Southern University and residing in New Orleans Louisiana traveling and still for-filling the ministry; his season changed due to Hurricane Katrina where he moved to Atlanta, GA where he met Pastor Glenn B Allen at New Life Ministries. While serve under his mentor Bishop Glenn B Allen Sr., we saw growth from a fewer than fifty Christians to a ministry over hundreds of God fearing individuals. The vision of the church while under Pastor Glenn B Allen was to change the name to Destiny Christian Center International in Fayetteville GA.
Dr. Profit was directed by God to embellish the mission of Destiny Christian Houston by re-focusing on simple yet powerful communication pillars that all members can remember and worship by: Faith, Family, Focus.
Having a commitment to his calling and trusting God, Pastor Allen stepped out on faith and in 2018, founded Destiny Christian Houston in Houston, Texas. Blessing the city of Houston and growing Destiny Houston is a vision for Pastor Profit.
Pastor Profit is making a difference in the lives of members and the entire Houston community. Dr. Profit is covered with anointing, divine favor and obedience which God is utilizing greatly to cause a revision in the lives of people. His vision is relentlessly clear, with one central principle — to build and develop a kingdom of empowered, equipped people for God.
Today Destiny Houston is constantly and consistently growing daily. With over 20 years of experience in ministry, Pastor Profit has appeared on several national programs, preached across the country.
Pastor Profit has florished in his calling and operates in the anointing of pastor, teacher, apostle, and prophet; and God still has more work for Pastor Profit to do. God has given Pastor Profit vision for the Destiny Houston and it multiple locations. Pastor Profit will not rest until God’s promises come to pass. His motto Never Quit and where we all come to take a stand against Sin.
In addition to his many ministry accomplishments, his greatest accomplishment is being the father of three wonderful children, Christian, Laila, and Ava; and a husband to Andrea.

At Destiny, we see it as an imperative to consider the environment He has created for us. It is our duty to keep Earth clean and sustainable for the next generations.
